The parents co-operation was crucial to help students improve the reading skill it was very important to make them realise the importance of reading skill in education in specific and life in general
There were 15 criterion identified of reading skills for 5 class .the pre-test and post-test was designed accordingly
Honing the reading skill is a gradual process and I was happy to see my students journey from identification of latters in sequence and in random to reading short sentences and stories
ANALYSIS OF POST-TEST RESULTS:
# the some 15 criterion were used to test students in post-test
# the results were remarkably positive and encourage for maximum number of students
a)all students were identified capital and small letters
b) all students were read 4/5/6 latters words
c)all students were read short sentences
REFLECTIONS:
# There was remarkable positive change in students personality traits.they started talking sharing and were confident they also started looking happy cheerful and started volunteering indifferent activities
CONCLUSION: The aim of this will be fulfilled only if these students get equal learning experience as that of others to achieve this the school and parents have to work together and there fore recurrent parent orientation programs are a must
